When he sees the morning dawn that shines over the beautiful Gorjanci, he remembers his childhood and decides to create his home here. The path leads him high across the mountain passes and ridges, where he builds a simple wooden cabin on a solitary plateau.

He goes hunting for wild game, tries to catch crustaceans and fish in the streams, feeds sheep and goats that give him milk and cheese, grows medicinal plants, picks herbs and edible fruits, and prepares healing potions. He uses special spells against cursed forest creatures and mystical energies.
This is a time of peasant revolts and religious differences. It is also marked by the development of the Slovenian language and the printing of the first books. Among them was the Dalmatin Bible, the first translation of the bible into the Slovenian language, carefully stored in the Posavje Museum in Brežice.
